Very short and completely unedited, so probably full of mistakes.

BECCY MAKES ME POST THINGS.

It was 4:13pm on a lazy Sunday afternoon when Mike Peabody, lead reporter for the very well known HHTV News, received the email. “Mike, you’re going to love this!!!!” was written in the subject bar and the message itself was set to ‘highest importance’

“Hey Mike! Great news! We’ve got you the biggest story of your whole career to report on! Basically, something is going down in the Time Sewers and we have no idea what. We want YOU to report on it. I’ve heard there’s this gang of ‘meddling kids’ or something coming to check it out so I’ll be needing interviews with each and every one of them. Oh, and I hope you’re okay with dogs. They have a big one. I’ve included a picture so you can see how big.”

The HHTV boss wasn’t one for formal emails. Never had been. Mike scrolled down the page to check out the picture of the very big dog and did a little squeal of excitement which he would never admit to because it was rather girly. The team of ‘meddling kids’ with a dog were none other than Mystery Inc. and Scooby Doo!

Ever since childhood Mike had been a massive Scooby Doo fan. He had everything. Scooby Doo socks, slippers, cups, dressing gowns, DVDs, Cds, even underwear! Ever since he got his job with HHTV, however, he had to keep his obsession a bit quieter. Didn’t want people to think he was weird. He’d let Sam in on the secret, but only because she opened the door to his Doo cupboard and a cardboard cut out of the dog knocked her over. He probably would have told Sam anyway. He told Sam everything.

It was a bright sunny morning in England, and George was sitting in a room with the curtains closed eating a large steak pie. He’d had a particularly bad evening, Caroline had decided to sleep facing him and her breathe made him feel sick so he ended up sleeping on the floor. Again.

All of a sudden, there was a bang on the door. “Go AWAY, Caroline!” said George though a mouthful of pie.

“Silly Georgie, it’s your dad. Let me in.”

“Go AWAY, Dad” replied George through a mouthful of pie.

“Oh but it’s boring around here. The doctors won’t stop chasing me and I want someone to talk to.”

“The door’s not even locked y’know. Urgh” George really wasn’t fond of his dad. They had their friendlier moments, but mostly they just argued. George’s dad, also named George, was the current king of England, and a little mad. George didn’t like being a prince even a little bit. Considering his father’s madness he was practicaly the king, but didn’t have the title that he longed for.

“You know what. I forgot just how ugly you are!” Mr. Thrall said to his wife, smiling, grabbing her by the hand and prancing out of the door of Mr Viking’s home. Mr. Viking and Mrs Snoradottir sat at the table. His walked his fingers along the table and onto her hand and she swatted it away, smiling. She’d missed this.

Before the wife swap it had been nothing but arguments.

“Stop coming home covered in monk’s blood! I don’t want to wash your tunic every day!”

“Stop complaining, woman, you don’t wash my tunic anyway! We have Thralls for that!”

“Well maybe you should have married Mrs Thrall instead then!” and that’s how the whole thing started. How the Historical Wife Swap team had been called in to make that a reality, if only for a week.

After her very messy divorce at 15, Mrs. Snoradottir (who went by a different name back then, but hates it and refuses to let anyone know what it was) married Mr. Viking and settled in a small area in England, nice and close to a village for Mr. Viking to pillage, and with a little hut at the bottom of the garden in which lived the Thrall family.

In which Emma is horribly conflicted because of the British Comedy Awards.

Turns out, Horrible Histories and This Is Jinsy are both up for Best Sketch Show.
It's pretty obvious from the pictures around my blog that I love Horrible Histories a lot, but I love Jinsy on pretty much the same level, so, in the words of Natalie Imbruglia or whatever her name was, NOTHING'S RIGHT I'M TORN. I just love them both so much. I really want to be TeamJinsy because Jinsy only has the one series and it is so good and I'd hate for it to not have another series, whereas Horrible Histories is already very popular, having won the award last year, and I know full well that it will have no trouble being commissioned for more episodes.

On the actual day of the awards I can tell I will be the HorribleHistorian on the outside of the group whatever the outcome, because if HH wins then I will be upset for Jinsy, however if Jinsy wins I will be very VERY happy for Justin and Chris because they really deserve it, but the rest of the HH Fandom will be all angry and "blah blah hh were robbed" and then I'll lose all my followers. Hmph.

Don't even get me started on the fact that Come Fly With Me is also nominated, considering my love for David Walliams.
